Stuffed Green Pepper Boats Recipe
Ingredients:
1.5 c of croutons; unseasoned
3/4 c cheese (mozzarella); grated
3/4 c of tomato; chopped
2 Tbsps of onion; chopped
2 Tbsps of olives (black); chopped
2 Tbsps of butter; melted
1/3 c of hot water
Oregano leaf
1/2 tsp of garlic
3 pcs of green peppers; halved lengthwise & de-seeded
Salt
Instructions:
Mix the croutons, cheese, tomato, onions, olives, oregano, garlic salt and hot water except the peppers. Place mixture inside peppers.
Cover each pepper with alum foil. Leave the top uncovered with foil. Grill on medium high heat for up to thirty minutes, until they become tender.
Cover the tops with a piece of foil in order to fully cook edges. Serves six persons.
