How To Prepare Chicken On The Grill

Steaks are usually the ones who popularly grilled rather than chicken. Although I prefer grilling some chicken, since its lean, tastes really great and a lot better than your regular red meats.

Commonly I prefer to grill breast parts of the chicken. You may grill other cuts, but I’d rather prefer to slow cook and barbeque the other parts of the chicken using indirect kind of heat. When doing so creates a very moist and better tasting chicken dish versus grilling the rest of its parts.

Grilling up chicken outside on your griller really gives the meat better flavor and gives that extra twist so I really love to barbecue outdoors.

I usually go for frozen breasts of a chicken. Usually in my local grocery store, they’re always discounted or on sale. Feel free to also use fresh ones, but they’re more expensive than the ones that are frozen.

When buying frozen, make sure to choose the ones that are very good in quality and if possible the ones that are 99%PRCTG% fat free. Go for the very best quality when buying frozen that your budget allows.

When thawing out your chickens, just place them inside a microwaveable glass dish then place inside your microwave for 20 mins on defrost settings. Although defrosting time is dependent on the thickness of your chicken cuts.

Once it has been defrosted, entirely rinse off the chicken breasts using running water then pat them dry. After that generously apply some extra virgin olive-oil. Since this creates a sort of base for your spice rubs. Don’t be afraid to get messy.

Grilling tends to create different tastes and this is further enhanced with spicy rubs. Perhaps you’re not so acquainted on what a rub means. It actually means a blend of dried spices which are being rubbed onto chicken, or perhaps some vegetables or meat.

Rubs give your grilled meats more texture aside from locking in all those flavors and that moisture for a better-tasting and yummier grilled piece of meat.

You’d love the idea of making your very own personal rub. Since rubs usual ingredients are black peppers, cumin (ground), celery seeds, paprika, powdered garlic, and ground red-pepper. Avoid using salt (regular table salt) and granulated-sugar (regular) in your rub, because they’ll bring out moisture from your meat and this moisture is something that we want to keep inside the meat.

You could just a single burner at your gas griller or depending on the quantity of chicken breasts you’re planning to grill. I usually set the settings to 375 to 400 degrees. If using your charcoal griller, turn settings to medium.

The duration of your grilling varies from 20 mins to a longer period of time solely dependent on the quantity of breasts. Cook 1 side for 5 mins then turn to the other side to get them done all over.

With these tips I think that you’d have really great results in grilling your chicken, and most especially the breasts because they’ll cook up really juicy. Serve alone or together with some side dishes too
