Chicken on the Spit Recipe
Ingredients:
12 ozs of beer
12 ozs of water (at room temperature)
1/2 c of butter
For seasoning:
Pepper, salt, garlic, and parsley
Instructions:
Season chicken with pepper, garlic, and salt, include the cavity. Tie the legs and wings with prong hooks. Set rotisserie at high for one and a half hours.
Combine beer, butter, pepper, parsley, garlic, and salt below cooking meat then baste frequently (every 20 mins).
To make the gravy, collect the drippings from meat with the sauce and add flour just enough for the consistency you like.
