Bour-BQ Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper (black); freshly grounded
2 Tbsps of Worcestershire
1/3 c of molasses (dark); unsulphured
1/2 c of maple syrup (pure)
1/2 c of orange juice (fresh)
1/2 c of cider vinegar
2/3 c of ketchup
3/4 c of bourbon
2 pcs onions (medium sized); minced
Instructions:
Melt butter plus oil in medium-sized saucepan. Place over moderate heat. Put in onions then saute for 7 minutes until golden brown.
Mix the rest of ingredients on reduced heat then cook until thickened (about 4 minutes). Stir as often. Serve warm.
