BBQ Shrimp with Ponzu Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of scallion; sliced thinly
2 c of bok choy; sliced thinly
3 lbs of shrimp; shelled and de-veined
30 pcs of shrimp; shelled and de-veined
3 tsp of lemon rind
3 Tbsps of fresh ginger; peeled & chopped
1 Tbsp of sesame oil
5 Tbsps of olive oil
1/4 c of freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 Tbsps of sugar
1/4 c mirin
1/4 c of soy sauce
Instructions:
Preset barbecue grill to medium heat. Combine the soy, lime juice, mirin, oils, onion, ginger and lemon rind. Add the shrimps and cure for twenty minutes.
Grill shrimps until red in color. Place ‘bok choy’ on two plates and dribble some marinade. Place shrimps on top. Serves six people.
